COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

To Our Valued Clients,

We continue be open to serve you with reduced hours during this unprecedented time during this COVID-19 pandemic. This is in accordance to being part of the Province of BC’s “List of Essential Services” during our provincial State of Emergency. This allows us not only to keep your vehicle operating in its peak condition, but also the means to replace it should you find it necessary.

The safety and health of our community is always a top priority for us. In consideration with the ever-growing global concerns around the COVID-19 (coronavirus), we wanted to share with you that we are, and always have been committed to providing clean and healthy spaces for our clients and staff. As part of maintaining our high standards, we have taken additional measures to keep everyone safe as outlined in our COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan.

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

FACILITY MODIFICATIONS.
We have made changes throughout our dealerships to enhance safety such as: limiting entrance doorways to control the number of people entering each dealership, restricting customer access areas and installing stanchions to facilitate flow and installation of acrylic guards at areas where physical distancing is challenged.

ENHANCED SANITIZATION. We have always been committed to providing you, our valued client, together with our team with a safe, clean and healthy environment. We have further enhanced our cleaning protocols by using an aggressive disinfectant that is a virucide and also effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria. This combined with an increase in the frequency of sanitizing high-traffic touchpoints and customer areas is designed to protect everyone.

HAND SANITIZERS. Our dealerships are equipped with strategically placed hand sanitizer dispensers for guests and team members to use. Our team is also required to wash their hands frequently.

MASK PROVISION. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, our frontline staff are recommended to wear supplied masks for your safety. In return all clients are offered masks upon visiting our dealerships.

SAFETY COMMUNICATION. Each of our team members are required to complete our COVID-19 Health and Safety course. Additional information is communicated to our team through our internal website, email newsletters and signage. We have safety officers assigned to each dealership who is responsible for ensuring best practices are being followed.

ETIQUETTE CHANGE. Our team members have been instructed to refrain from shaking hands and to maintain a safe distance in accordance with social distancing protocols.

CONTACTLESS TEST DRIVES. Our dealerships are offering at-home test drives for your safety while adhering to social distancing protocols. The selected vehicle is thoroughly cleaned, delivered directly to your home, and then sanitized just before handing off the vehicle for you to drive.

SERVICE WORK. Your vehicle’s driver seat and steering wheel will be protected with disposable covers upon arrival. All service work will be performed by technicians wearing disposable gloves. Your vehicle will be thoroughly cleaned and as an additional measure, all driver touchpoint areas will be sanitized.

VALET SERVICE. We also offer a Valet Service where we will pick up and return the vehicle to your home*.

COURTESY VEHICLES. Our fleet of vehicles is thoroughly cleaned inside and out after each use and driver touchpoint areas are sanitized before handing off the vehicle for you to drive.

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS. We have imposed a team-wide business travel ban. Team members who choose to travel internationally for personal reasons are required to self-isolate for 14 days upon their return.

To help protect yourself and others, we kindly ask that anyone who is feeling sick to refrain from visiting us so that we can ensure a safe and pleasant experience for everyone. The Public Health Agency of Canada is asking Canadians who have recently traveled to limit their contact with others for a period of 14 days. This means to self-isolate and stay at home.

Together we can face this challenging situation. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide ongoing updates as needed. We encourage you to stay up-to-date with public health through the PHAC’s website.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at covid-19@cowellautogroup.com.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
